Why North Las Vegas Homeowners Choose Toto Construction
Stonehall Construction provides independent Toto construction, repair, and installation service, from Toto Drake toilets to Washlet electronic bidet seats and full bathroom remodels built around Toto fixtures. We’re not a Toto dealer or authorized warranty center, but we’ve worked on Toto products in North Las Vegas homes since the early 2000s, which means we know how their ceramic valves, flush towers, and electronic seats behave in our hard-water desert climate. If you own a Toto toilet or Washlet that’s running, leaking, or refusing to cooperate, call (833) 772-4634 for a straight answer and a free estimate.
What makes our Toto work different is scope. Most plumbers fix a toilet and leave. Stonehall handles the whole bathroom, from Toto fixture installation to shower surrounds, vanities, tile, and trim. One contractor. Every trade. So when your Toto repair turns into a larger remodel question, you’re not coordinating between a plumber, a tile guy, and a cabinet installer. We manage the entire job under one contract.
Why Trust Stonehall Construction for Your Toto Construction?
Nolan Briggs grew up near the Carey Avenue corridor in North Las Vegas and never really left. He figured if he was going to build things, he might as well build them where he knew every street. He trained through the building trades program at College of Southern Nevada, then spent nearly two decades working framing crews and project management before founding Stonehall Construction to offer Sunrise Manor Toto service and more across the valley. That’s the lens we bring to Toto work: we’ve seen these fixtures fail in every tract home era from the 1960s to last year’s new builds, and we know the difference between a five-minute fix and a replacement you shouldn’t put off.
Our crews keep genuine Toto OEM fill valves, flush towers, wax rings, and Washlet components in local stock. When a Toto part needs replacing, we don’t wait on a week-long order or install whatever off-brand part the supply house had on the shelf. For noncritical items where aftermarket quality is equal, we’ll tell you and let you decide. We’re an independent Toto service provider, which means we answer to you, not to a manufacturer’s warranty department. That independence lets us give you honest repair-vs-replace guidance without pressure to sell new fixtures.

Common Toto Construction Problems We Fix in North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas water is hard. Really hard. Calcium and magnesium build up on every surface water touches, and Toto toilets and Washlets have specific failure points under that stress. Here’s what we see most often in North Las Vegas homes:
- Toto Drake fill-valve wear from hard water. The Drake’s fill valve is a workhorse, but mineral deposits gradually rough up the diaphragm and seal, causing slow tank refills, intermittent running, or that ghost-flush sound in the middle of the night. We replace worn fill valves with genuine Toto OEM parts and often add a simple inline filter conversation for homeowners on particularly bad water.
- Toto Ultramax flush-tower degradation. The Ultramax and Ultramax II use a flush tower instead of a traditional flapper. When hard-water scale builds on the tower seal, you get weak flushes, double-flushes, or water trickling from the tank into the bowl. The tower seal is a $10 part and a 20-minute fix. Some plumbers will sell you a whole new toilet. We won’t do that.
- Washlet nozzle clogging and mineral buildup. Toto Washlet seats, especially the S500e and C200 series, push water through tiny nozzle apertures. North Las Vegas water clogs those nozzles over time, and mineral film coats the sensors, leading to weak spray, error codes, or the seat not responding. We disassemble, descale, and replace clogged nozzle assemblies with OEM components when needed. Most Washlet nozzle problems are repairable.
- Wax ring and flange failures in older North Las Vegas homes. Homes built in the 1980s and 1990s around Cheyenne and Decatur, or older stock near Carey Avenue, often have original cast-iron or early ABS flanges. Decades of thermal cycling crack them, and wax rings compress and fail. You’ll notice a faint sewer smell at the base of the toilet, or a small dark spot developing in the grout. We replace flanges with stainless repair rings and install extra-thick wax or synthetic seals rated for high-temperature swings.
- Glaze etching and hairline cracks in Toto bowls. After enough years of abrasive hard-water minerals and temperature cycling, the ceramic glaze on any Toto bowl will micro-etch, making it hold stains and feel rough. We see this often on Toto Clayton and Nexus models in North Las Vegas. Etching is cosmetic and cleanable to a point. A hairline crack in the bowl or trap is structural: those require replacement, and we’ll tell you straight when that’s the case.
Toto Parts & Our Repair-vs-Replace Approach
We use genuine Toto OEM fill valves, flush towers, wax rings, and Washlet components whenever they are available. Toto’s factory parts are precisely toleranced for their fixtures, and in a hard-water market like North Las Vegas, that precision matters. A slightly off aftermarket fill valve might work fine for a year in soft-water California, but our mineral load shortens its life to months. We don’t gamble with critical components.
For noncritical items, such as supply lines, escutcheons, or mounting hardware, we source high-quality aftermarket parts that meet or exceed spec, and we tell you what we’re using and why. Our decision rule is simple: if a Toto toilet has a cracked bowl, a compromised trap, or a Washlet’s main control board is failing, repeated repairs are throwing good money after bad. We’ll show you the problem, quote both options, and recommend what we would do in our own homes. Call (833) 772-4634 and we’ll look at your fixture before recommending anything.
Our Toto Service Process – Step by Step
- 1
Diagnosis. We arrive, inspect the Toto fixture, test water pressure and flush performance, and identify the exact failure point. For Washlet seats, we run through the self-diagnostics and check nozzle flow, sensor response, and board function. Our goal is an accurate diagnosis in the first visit, not a parts-guessing game.
- 2
Repair or install. We use OEM Toto parts for critical components and complete the repair or installation with all connections torqued to spec and water-tested. For bathroom remodels involving Toto fixtures, we coordinate plumbing, tile, cabinetry, and electrical under one crew and one schedule.
- 3
Testing. Every Toto toilet gets a full fill, flush, and leak-down test before we leave. Every Washlet gets a full wash-cycle test with water-pressure verification and sensor calibration. If it doesn’t perform like factory spec, it doesn’t pass.
- 4
Warranty and follow-up. We stand behind our installation workmanship, and we walk you through what your Toto manufacturer warranty covers for the fixture itself. If a part we installed fails prematurely, we’ll come back and make it right.

FAQs – Toto Construction Service in North Las Vegas
In almost every case we see in North Las Vegas, clogged Washlet nozzles are repairable. The cause is nearly always mineral scale from hard water building up inside the nozzle apertures. We remove the nozzle assembly, descale it with the right solution, and if the apertures are deeply pitted or the internal seals are shot, we replace the nozzle unit with a genuine Toto OEM part. A clogged nozzle alone almost never justifies a new Washlet seat. The only exception is when the main control board has also failed from moisture intrusion or power surges, at which point we’ll quote both repair and replacement so you can decide. Call (833) 772-4634 for an exact diagnosis and price.
An intermittently running Toto Drake almost always points to a worn fill-valve diaphragm or a degraded flush-valve flapper, both damaged by North Las Vegas hard-water minerals. The fill valve may be closing slowly or not seating fully, allowing water to trickle into the tank and trigger the refill cycle. Jiggling the handle is a temporary bandage. We replace the worn component with a genuine Toto OEM part, and the running stops. A small repair now prevents a larger water bill and strain on the flush system later. Call (833) 772-4634 to schedule a service visit.
Yes, we install customer-supplied Toto toilets and Washlets, and we warranty our installation workmanship. We’ll inspect the fixture on arrival for shipping damage, verify all components are present, install to spec, and test thoroughly. We can’t warranty the fixture itself if it arrives cracked or defective from the retailer, but we’ll document everything and help you process a return if needed. We’re happy to talk through the pros and cons of specific Toto models before you buy, especially concerning North Las Vegas water conditions and your bathroom’s rough-in dimensions. Call (833) 772-4634 for a free installation quote.
A slow leak at the base of any toilet, including a Toto Ultramax, is a serious problem. It means the wax ring has failed or the flange underneath is cracked, and water is seeping into your subfloor with every flush. In North Las Vegas homes with aging floors, that moisture damage compounds fast, leading to rot, mold, and flooring failure. The fix is straightforward: we pull the toilet, inspect the flange, replace the wax ring with a high-quality synthetic or extra-thick wax seal, and reset the fixture. If the flange is cracked, we install a stainless repair ring before anything else. The repair costs far less than a subfloor replacement. Call (833) 772-4634 to get it checked before it worsens.
We use genuine Toto OEM parts for all critical components: fill valves, flush towers, wax rings, Washlet nozzles, sensors, and control boards. Aftermarket parts are used only for noncritical items like supply lines or mounting hardware, and we always tell you what we’re installing and why. Call (833) 772-4634 to ask about your specific model.
Toto-specific repair work is usually a small line item compared to full bathroom construction. A fill valve replacement typically falls in the low hundreds including parts and labor, while a full Las Vegas Toto service bathroom remodel built around Toto fixtures ranges from $9,000 to $28,000 depending on scope, materials, and whether you’re moving plumbing. Small bathroom remodels run $5,000 to $12,000, walk-in shower installation runs $4,500 to $12,000, and bathroom vanity installation runs $800 to $3,000. We provide written line-item quotes before any work begins, so you know exactly what you’re paying for. Call (833) 772-4634 for a free estimate on your specific project.
