PGT Construction in Sunrise Manor, NV
We provide independent PGT service across Sunrise Manor, from single window repairs to full impact-rated replacements. The one thing that makes our PGT work here different is that we understand what the high-desert east valley does to these windows and doors, and we fix them accordingly. If your PGT windows are fogging, failing to seal against dust, or dragging on worn rollers, call (833) 772-4634 for a free estimate.
Stonehall Construction has been working on PGT sales & service in the east Las Vegas Valley long enough to know these systems inside and out. We’re not a manufacturer-authorized dealer. We’re better for you in one specific way: we give straight answers about whether your window is worth repairing or should be replaced. That’s the conversation Sunrise Manor homeowners actually need, not a brand pitch.
Why Sunrise Manor Residents Choose Us for PGT Service
Most window companies in this part of the valley see a PGT window and treat it like any other aluminum or vinyl frame. We don’t. We know the WinGuard lines, the sliding door hardware, the seal designs, and the specific ways they fail under Sunrise Manor conditions. That knowledge means faster diagnostics and fewer return trips.
Nolan Briggs, our General Contractor in Sunrise Manor, grew up near the Carey Avenue corridor and has spent two decades working on residential and commercial jobs across the valley. He started Stonehall Construction to do things the right way the first time. When we send a crew to your Sunrise Manor home, we’re sending people who know the streets, the housing stock, and the weather patterns that eat away at window seals and door hardware year after year.
We carry access to PGT OEM replacement parts, which matters when you’re trying to preserve a warranty or keep a frame running for another decade. If OEM parts are backordered, we’ll tell you that upfront and discuss quality aftermarket options before doing anything. No surprises, no vague “we’ll see what we can find.”

Common PGT Construction Problems We Solve in Sunrise Manor
Here’s what we actually see when we get called out to Sunrise Manor homes:
- Fogged glass in PGT WinGuard impact windows. The sealed unit between the panes fails, and once that happens, the fog won’t go away. Sunrise Manor’s extreme temperature swings between summer afternoons and desert nights put constant stress on those seals. We replace the glass pack and restore clarity.
- Chalky, faded vinyl frames. South- and west-facing elevations in Sunrise Manor bake in direct sun for six months straight. PGT frames hold up better than most, but after years of UV exposure, even quality vinyl starts to oxidize and turn chalky. We’ll tell you honestly whether it’s cosmetic or structural.
- PFT sliding glass doors that drag or won’t seal. Dust gets into the roller tracks, the rollers wear down, and eventually the door stops meeting the threshold correctly. Our crews replace rollers, adjust the frame, and install new sweeps and weatherstripping so the door works like it should.
- Loose hinges and lock hardware. Monsoon-season wind events torque window and door hardware. Over time, PGT locks and hinges can loosen enough to affect operation. We tighten, replace, and realign as needed.
- Dust infiltration through failed weatherstripping. This is the big one in Sunrise Manor. If you’re wiping dust off interior sills every week, your weatherstripping is shot. More on this below.
PGT Service in Sunrise Manor: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Project
Sunrise Manor sits in a high-wind, high-dust corridor east of Las Vegas where blowing sand and monsoon gusts hammer window and door seals far harder than in sheltered parts of the valley. That means PGT window service here is as much about restoring weather-tight seals against dust intrusion as it is about glass replacement. A homeowner in Summerlin might never notice seal wear. A homeowner off North Lamb Boulevard deals with it every time the wind kicks up.
On a recent job off North Lamb Boulevard in Sunrise Manor, our tech traced a persistent dust film inside a PGT WinGuard vinyl slider to failed weatherstripping and a worn sweep that no longer met the threshold. We replaced the OEM sweep and weatherstripping, adjusted the rollers, and resealed the frame, and the homeowner’s dust problem stopped without a full window replacement. That’s the kind of fix that only comes from knowing this specific neighborhood’s conditions, not from reading a product catalog.
PGT Models & Products We Service in Sunrise Manor
We work on PGT WinGuard aluminum impact windows, WinGuard vinyl impact windows, sliding glass doors, and both single-hung and double-hung vinyl windows. Our parts approach is straightforward: OEM PGT replacement glass, rollers, locks, and weatherstripping whenever they’re available, so fit and warranty integrity are preserved. When OEM parts are backordered, we use quality aftermarket hardware and tell you exactly what we’re installing and why. If the frame is sound, we repair it. If the frame or seal is compromised beyond a simple repair, we’ll recommend replacement rather than repeated patching that costs more over time.

FAQs – PGT Construction in Sunrise Manor
Fogging between the panes means the sealed glass unit has failed. The extreme temperature swings and intense sun in Sunrise Manor put extra stress on window seals, which leads to premature failures in PGT WinGuard units. The fix is replacing the glass pack in the existing frame. Call (833) 772-4634 and we’ll tell you exactly what the repair will cost.
Yes. Hard operation usually means worn rollers or debris in the track, and dust intrusion means failed weatherstripping and sweeps. We replace the worn parts, adjust the rollers, and reseat the door against the threshold. Most of these repairs are done in a single visit. Call (833) 772-4634 to get on our schedule.
Building codes in Clark County require impact-rated or protected openings in new construction, but existing Sunrise Manor homes are not automatically required to upgrade. If you’re planning a Sunrise Manor Home Remodeling project or replacement, impact-rated PGT windows are a smart investment given the wind and dust conditions here.
We do both. Our crews handle impact window installation, full window replacement, and door installation alongside repairs. You get one contractor managing the whole job, from ordering glass to final trim work.
If the frame is square, the glass is clear, and the hardware is functional, we repair. If the frame is warped, the seal is blown, or the window has multiple failed components, replacement makes more financial sense. We’ll give you a straight answer based on what we actually see.
