Why Nellis Air Force Base Residents Choose Us for KraftMaid Service

We’ve installed and serviced KraftMaid cabinetry across the Las Vegas Valley for years, and we know the brand’s door styles, box constructions, and drawer hardware well enough to diagnose problems without pulling cabinets unnecessarily. As an independent provider, we work on KraftMaid kitchens on their own merits, no authorization or partnership implied. Nolan Briggs founded Stonehall Construction after nearly two decades of building across the valley, and he grew up near the Carey Avenue corridor in North Las Vegas, so the streets around Nellis Air Force Base aren’t new territory for our crew. We bring brand-specific KraftMaid knowledge together with the housing-approval realities of base life, and that combination saves Nellis Air Force Base homeowners time, money, and a lot of phone calls.

Common KraftMaid Construction Problems We Solve in Nellis Air Force Base

• Thermofoil and laminate door peeling: KraftMaid thermofoil doors look sharp when new, but years of southern Nevada UV through east- and south-facing kitchen windows breaks down the adhesive layer at the edges. We see this all over Nellis Air Force Base, and we reface the doors rather than tearing out boxes that are still solid.
• Swollen sink bases and dishwasher panels: Particleboard and MDF box interiors swell when slow leaks go unnoticed, and Nellis AFB’s low desert humidity swings dry out joint seams and open small gaps that let moisture creep in. We replace the damaged sections and reset the face frames when the carcass is salvageable.
• Sagging soft-close drawer glides: Soft-close glides lose dampening or sag under full loads, especially in kitchens that bake in summer heat without much air movement. We swap in quality aftermarket soft-close hardware where OEM parts aren’t worth the markup.
• Misaligned doors and uneven gaps: Cabinet boxes dry out and shift in the desert climate, so face frames and doors end up out of alignment with rubs and uneven gaps. We’ve seen it before. Here’s how we fix it: reset the frames, adjust the hinges, and get the reveal consistent.
• Faded or chipped door finishes: The high UV exposure at Nellis Air Force Base fades even premium finishes faster than homeowners expect. When the boxes are structurally sound, we reface with new doors and drawer fronts that match the style and bring the finish back to new.

KraftMaid Service in Nellis Air Force Base: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Project

Homes inside Nellis Air Force Base’s 89191 ZIP sit in a military housing and privatized-housing mix where kitchen upgrades often have to clear base housing office approval and match existing finishes. That’s the piece most general contractors miss, and it’s the first thing we address. Our KraftMaid work here starts with confirming what the housing authority will actually allow before a single cabinet is ordered. We’ve completed projects where the approval process took more coordination than the demolition, and we’ve learned to front-load that paperwork so the construction timeline doesn’t stall. If you’re in base housing near the flight line or one of the privatized communities inside Nellis Air Force Base, we’ll walk you through what the housing office needs, then build your KraftMaid kitchen around those parameters. That’s the difference between a project that starts on time and one that sits waiting for a signature.

FAQs – KraftMaid Construction in Nellis Air Force Base

Do you match existing KraftMaid finishes when adding cabinets or an island?
Yes, we match existing KraftMaid door styles and finishes when adding cabinets or an island to an existing layout. For active lines like Vantage, Deluxe, and Prelude, we can often order doors from the current catalog; for older or discontinued finishes, we color-match using stain and paint finishes that blend with the existing boxes. The goal is an addition that looks original to the kitchen. Call (833) 772-4634 for a finish-match assessment.

Are you an authorized KraftMaid dealer or installer?
No, we are an independent KraftMaid service provider. Stonehall Construction is our General Contractor in Nellis Air Force Base that installs and services KraftMaid cabinetry on its own merits. We’re not manufacturer-affiliated or authorized, which means we make repair-versus-replace recommendations based on what’s best for your Nellis Air Force Base kitchen, not on what a manufacturer program dictates.

Do you use genuine KraftMaid parts?
We source genuine KraftMaid replacement doors, drawer fronts, and hinges where the line is still supported. Where OEM is discontinued or overpriced, we install quality aftermarket soft-close glides and hardware. We’ll tell you which option makes sense for your boxes before any work begins.

How long does KraftMaid cabinet work take in Nellis Air Force Base?
Refacing a typical kitchen takes 3 to 5 working days once parts arrive. Full tear-out and new cabinet installation runs 1 to 3 weeks depending on kitchen size, countertop lead times, and the base housing approval timeline. We schedule around the approval so you’re not waiting on our crew. Call (833) 772-4634 for a timeline specific to your project.

How much does it cost to reface KraftMaid cabinets in Nellis Air Force Base?
Cabinet refacing in Nellis Air Force Base typically falls between $4,000 and $13,000 depending on door count, hardware upgrades, and finish matching. It lands near the lower end when boxes are solid and we’re swapping doors and glides only; it climbs when face frames need resetting and we’re adding an island or matching a discontinued finish. For an exact quote, call (833) 772-4634, estimates are free.

Will my base housing office approval slow down the project?
It doesn’t have to, provided the approval process starts before the cabinet order is placed. We handle the housing office paperwork at the front end for Nellis Air Force Base projects, so construction starts once approval is in hand. If you’re in privatized housing, we’ll confirm which finishes and modifications are allowed before we order a single door.
